We have reached another important milestone in the implementation of our ESG initiatives by sending 177 tonnes of PVC waste for recycling. According to the confirmation received from Metal-Plast, recycling this quantity of PVC may correspond to a reduction of approximately 354 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The estimate is based on the Recovinyl conversion factor, according to which recycling one tonne of PVC contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately two tonnes.

The estimate of 354 tonnes of CO₂ was calculated based on the assumption that recycling one tonne of PVC reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately two tonnes. The actual environmental impact may vary depending on factors such as the type of waste, recycling technology used, transportation, and the subsequent use of the recycled material.

Source of calculation: confirmation from Metal-Plast regarding the transfer of 177 tonnes of PVC waste for recycling in 2025. The estimate is based on the Recovinyl conversion factor: 1 tonne of recycled PVC = approximately 2 tonnes less CO₂ emissions.
